Expert evidence
Expert evidence took place during two sessions of the trial, on 22 and 23 May 2019.
A total of 17 people took part, including officials from the Ministry of Treasury to determine the public funds used for the organization, preparation, logistics, financing and execution of the referendum, or technicians to assess the possible value of the use of the buildings where the referendum was held.

The trial
Documentary evidence
The documentary evidence was practiced during three full sessions of the trial, specifically on 27, 28 and 29 May. The highlight of this phase was the viewing of videos, many of which had not been allowed by the President of the Court during the witness evidence phase despite repeated protests from the defences.
