Cross-examination of defendants

Cross-examination of the defendants took place during the trial sessions of 14, 19, 20, 21 and 26 February.

All defendants refused to answer questions from the People’s Prosecution represented by the political party VOX. Some of them, like Oriol Junqueras and Raül Romeva, only answered their lawyer’s questions.

Oriol Junqueras

Oriol Junqueras only answered questions from his lawyer and the cross-examination took approximately 2 hours.

The President of the Court did not intervene at any point to limit the lawyer’s questions or the defendant’s answers.
